SAINTS FINED €500 FOR INCIDENT AT BOHS MATCH

St Patrick's Athletic have been fined €500 by the FAI Disciplinary Commission following an incident at the recent Bohemians game in which a part-full plastic bottle was thrown from the shed end of the ground, hitting the Bohemians goalkeeper.

A fence placed at the shed end of the ground had been removed during the recent upgrade works at the ground. "Unfortunately incidents such as these may foce us to put that fence back up" commented Club Secretary Stephen Connelly. "We cannot sustain fines such as these, especially at a time when we have a month between home fixtures".
