NEW LOOK SAINTS

The squad that runs out onto the field in 2005 will be sporting the same red and white colours of previous St Pat's teams but will be full of new faces. Up to the first week in December, Johnny McDonnell has already signed ex-Liverpool and under-21 International striker Michael Foley, former Goalkeeper of the Year, Barry Ryan, and ex-Bohemians defender Stephen Caffrey. The club is delighted by these new additions, and are looking forward to collecting some silverware in the years to come.

As new players enter the Saints family, the club must bid farewell to some legendary players and fan favourites. Paul Osam has already declared retirement, while Chris Adamson, Karim el Khebir, Mark Casey, and Dessie Byrne have made their departures as well.

Recently, full-back Dessie Byrne, who just signed with Bohemians FC, expressed his appreciation to all the Saints supporters. Byrne stated, "I would just like to thank all of the fans for welcoming me back to Richmond Park. This club will always be very special to me and the supporters are brilliant. I have my own reasons for leaving and it is sad for me to go but I am looking forward now and I am sure that under John McDonnell, Pats will have a great season in 2005."
