Forrester Named PFAI Player Of The Year

Chris Forrester was named the PFA Ireland Player of the Year at the annual awards ceremony in Dublin on Saturday night.

The 30-year-old was recognised by his peers after scoring 15 goals in all competitions as the Saints won the FAI Cup and finished third in the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division.

Forrester is the 9th player to be voted PFA Ireland Player of the Year with the Saints.

He joins Paul McGrath (1982), Paddy Dillon (1988), Mark Ennis (1990), Eddie Gormley (1996), Paul Osam (1999), Keith Fahey (2008), Killian Brennan (2013) and Christy Fagan (2014).
