National Under-15 Cup Final Preview

St Patrick's Athletic and Cork City are both finalising their preparations for Sunday's SSE Airtricity League National Under-15 Cup Final on Sunday.

Richmond Park hosts Sunday's decider, with both sides hoping to become the inaugural winners of the competition.

St Pat's recorded away wins over Shamrock Rovers, Mayo League and Cabinteely and a win at home to Sligo Rovers on their way to the Final, while Cork City recorded home victories over Bray Wanderers and Bohemians, before travelling to Limerick in the semi-finals.

St Pat's Under-15 manager Denis Hyland is expecting a tough game against the Leesiders.

"We've played Cork twice already this year in the League. Both games ended in draws. There wont be anything in the game," he said.

"We've had a tough route to the Final, and I expect Sunday's game to be no different. We're delighted to be playing on front of our home fans."

Cork City manager Billy Woods says his side are looking forward to travelling to Dublin for the game.

"Both matches against Pats this year have been really tight. They play brilliant football and I know we will have to play well in Richmond Park," stated Woods.

"We beat Limerick away from home in the last round, and the confidence of that game will help the lads in Dublin on Sunday."
