Liam Buckley Awarded Philips Sports Manager Of The Month
Philips Ireland have named Liam Buckley, manager of St Patrick's Athletic FC, as the Philips Sports Manager of the Month for October 2013.
On 13th October the Saints beat Sligo Rovers 2-0 at home to clinch the league title with two games remaining.
This was Liam Buckley's second title success with St Pat's as he was in charge of the Inchicore outfit when they lifted the trophy in 1999.
This year's team won in every aspect, scoring more goals, conceding fewer and winning more games than any of their rivals.
