Saints Leave Thomand With A Point

St Pat's extended their lead at the top of the Airtricity League table to three points following a scoreless draw against Limerick.

It was a game of two halves as the Saints failed to find their rhythm in the first half, but were much the better team in the second.

Daryl Kavanagh had the best chance of the game, but when one-on-one with Barry Ryan he blazed over the bar.

Christy Fagan and Kenny Browe saw their efforts saved and in the final minute Conan Byrne's shot came back off the woodwork.

The attention turns to the FAI Cup next weekend, before the visit of Dundalk to Richmond Park on September 20th.
