Saints Suffer Euro Loss

St Pat's have been knocked out of the Europe following tonight's loss against VMFD Žalgiris.

Following last week's 2-2 draw away in Vilnius the Saints had the advantage going into tonight's game.

However, it was the visitors who took the lead moments before the half-time whistle thanks to Mantas Kuklys strike from the edge of the box.

Zalgiris doubled their lead five minutes into the second half with Kamil Bilinski tapping home from four yards.

Killian Brennan gave the Saints some hope when he dispatched an eighty-fourth minute penalty but the home side couldn't find the equalising goal which would have brought the game into extra-time.
