Saints Progress In Cup

St Patrick's Athletic got off to a winning start in their first match of the 2012 FAI Cup.

Crumlin United were the hosts in today's match at Richmond Park, but they found themselves trailing after only 3 minutes after a deflected cross from Darren Meenan sailed over the head of Dave Meehan.

The Saints doubled their lead 10 minutes later, when man of the match Jake Carroll finished off a fine move involving Darren Meenan.

The third goal came from Jake Kelly who fired past Meenan with only minutes remaining.
