Mulcahy Continues Scoring Run

Congratulations to David Mulcahy who scored the Airtricity League's only goal of the game against Manchester United in the first soccer game at the new Aviva Stadium. Mulcahy is the only player to score a goal in the last football game at the old Lansdowne Road (FAI Cup Final 2006) and the first game at the new Lansdowne Road (Aviva Stadium).

It was Mulcahy's 5th goal in 4 games having scored against Bohemians, Sporting Fingal and Dundalk (2).

Gary Rogers, Ryan Guy and Conor Kenna also featured for Damian Richardson's side.
