DANNY NORTH MAKES SAINTS DEBUT

Following his late transfer approval Danny North was able to make his debut for St Patrick's Athletic against Galway on Friday night when his transfer was approved by the League on Friday afternoon.

The 22 year old former Grimsby player came on for Pat's striker Vinny Faherty late in the second half and his powerful run and pass to Brian Cash saw the Saints being awarded a penalty to complete a 4-2 victory for the Saints.

Commenting on his first appearance for the club Danny said “I was just delighted to get a run out for the team and thankfully it went fairly well.

We've more games coming now so hopefully I will get another chance soon to show what I can do”.
