TEAM NEWS: ST PATRICK’S ATHLETIC V GALWAY UNITED

St Patrick's Athletic are hoping for another solid performance to maintain their position at the top of the Premier Division when they host Galway United at Richmond Park on Friday night.

TEAM NEWS

Defenders Shane Guthrie and Damian Lynch are both set to miss out through suspension.

Garrett Coughlan (leg) remains on the long-term injury list, Neil Harney is out with an ankle injury and Thomas Crawley has been called into the first team squad from the A Championship side.

MANAGER'S QUOTE

“Galway are on a very good run and had a good result away to Drogheda last week. They will be dangerous opponents - we've beaten them twice already this season and like a wounded foe they will no doubt be out to prove a point .

We're on a decent run ourselves and we need to keep that momentum going.

This is a critical part of the season and we really need to maintain our form, especially our home form” – John Gill, Assistant Manager.
