SAINTS SUPPORTING ALZHEIMER’S TEA DAY
St Patrick's Athletic Football Club is delighted to support The Alzheimer Society of Ireland at our upcoming home Airtricity League games against Shamrock Rovers (April 30th) and Dundalk FC (7th May) at Richmond Park.
Alzheimer's Tea Day is the Society's biggest annual fundraiser with thousands of people all over Ireland coming together to have a cup of tea and raise much needed funds to provide support services to those caring for persons with dementia in the community.
Tea Day collection boxes will be on display inside the ground for direct contributions to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
In addition Events4You the food caterers at Richmond Park have also generously agreed to make a contribution in support of the day.
In Ireland there are more than 44,000 people living with a dementia, of which Alzheimer's disease is the most common.
This year Tea Day aims to raise €550,000 in funds to ensure families can access their local Alzheimer's services when they need them most.
