SAINTS TRAVEL TO TAKE ON TRIBESMEN

Following a hard fought victory over a valiant Sligo Rovers on Friday, Pete Mahons men will look to continue their fine run of form when they travel west to face Galway United in the latest round of Airtricity League matches tonight.

Sean O Connors side are improving as the season continues, and enter the game on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Drogheda United on Friday.

Anto Flood netted himself a brace as United eased past Drogheda and is likely to partner impressive forward, Karl Sheppard, who recently had a man of the match performance away to League Champions Bohemians.

The Tribesmen currently lie 7th in the table, but a win could propel O' Connors side to fourth, ample motivation to beat the Saints.

The Saints have beaten United already this season, securing an opening night 2-0 victory in Richmond Park.

Ryan Guy and Alex Williams got their names on the score sheet back in March.

Vinnie Faherty returns to his old club for the first time this season, and will be relishing the opportunity to face his old teammates.

Galway Injury News: Former Saints midfielder Bobby Ryan is a doubt, having limped off against Drogheda on Friday.

Gary Curran (knee) and Thomas Heary (knee) are both doubtful to feature.
