FREEMAN STEPS DOWN - PART TWO

Simone explained: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with St Patrick's Athletic and will always have an affinity to this club. I could not have been made to feel more welcome by the supporters and it was a very difficult decision to leave. However, football is a very dynamic industry and there is always the danger that things can become stale. I feel that it is the right time to move on, both for myself and for the club and am sure that a refreshed St Patrick's Athletic will go from strength to strength in the future.”

Chief Executive Bernard J. O'Byrne stated: “We wish Simone all the best in the future and are sure that she will be a great success in whatever she does”.

Chairman Andrew O'Callaghan made the following statement:

"Simone has been a tireless employee on behalf of the club since her first day in the job. Her departure is a blow to the club although I understand the reasons for her departure and wish her every success in her new career. Simone will always be a part of our club and will continue to contribute to our development off the field. Her departure will place added demands on our commercial manager, Philip Nolan. However, I have every confidence Philip will take on this challenge and will redouble his efforts to make us a truly community focused and commercially successfully club"
