SAINTS NOW TO PLAY LONGFORD IN MID WEEK FRIENDLY
St Patrick's Athletic have this afternoon received a request from Drogheda United to postpone their Leinster Senior Cup match fixture due to take place this Wednesday night at Richmond Park .
The club has moved quickly to arrange a friendly with Longford Town in its place and this match will kick off at 7.45pm on Wednesday 10th February.
“At this time of year the players are a bit ring rusty but they will get better with every game”, said St Pat's manager Pete Mahon, “the most important thing for them now is to get match practice and I am delighted that Longford Town have agreed to accommodate us in this way,”
St Pat's V Longford kicks off at 7.45pm Wednesday 10th February - match tickets are €10 adults and €5 concession.
