Armstrong Out For 3 Weeks

Saints' striker Chris Armstrong has been ruled out for up to 3 weeks after picking up a knee injury during the week. The training ground accident couldn't have come at a worse time for the Saints who face tricky games in the coming weeks.

Armstrong missed last night's friendly against Tolka Rovers, and he has been ruled out of next week's match against Finn Harps, and he is also doubtful for the Shelbourne and Bohemians matches.

In an exclusive interview, club physio Christy O'Neill told stpatsfc.com that "Chris unfortunately fell awkwardly on his knee during training. We had him in with the specialist yesterday who confirmed that he would be sidelined for the coming weeks."
