MEETING TO DISCUSS NEW SUPPORTERS CLUB

Despite seeing his side go down 0-1 to St Pat's at the weekend Alan Kerins from Sligo is still willing to travel and meet with St Pat's fans this Thursday and to share his experiences of helping to set up and run The Sligo Bit O'Red Supporters Trust (www.thebitored.com).

Alan has already been in contact with Athlone Town fans in relation to their supporter's club as Alan says himself "making the League stronger is really what it's all about".

While it did take some time to set up The Sligo Bit O'Red Trust is now successfully up and running.

Alan stressed the need for any supporters' group to be totally independent especially from the football club "ultimately it will be the fans themselves who will make it a success so it is up to the members themselves them to set it up and run it".

Alan will share his views in McDowells on Thursday night at an open meeting to discuss the setting up of a new St Pat's supporters group.

All fans are invited to attend the meeting at 8.00pm and to share their views.
