FAI YOUTH CUP PREVIEW – DUNDALK MANAGERSCOPE

Dundalk Youth team manager Stephen Carragher is looking forward to Sunday's tussel with St Pats, “We are expecting a typical cup tie in Inchicore and a real battle. We have played them twice and won twice so we are going into the game with no fear.”

“Our form going into the semi-final has been excellent having built up great momentum in recent months and we are just getting better,” continued Carragher.

“We have continued to improve and we have developed a strong team spirit. The coaching team of Tommy Connolly and Cronin McCabe has been a huge help to me and the team. They are constantly encouraging the players to play a passing game.”

Carragher sees the game being another close affair, “Despite there being plenty of goals in the games there is little between the sides. We are especially dangerous from set pieces as Sean Conlon's deliveries have been excellent all season and our big centre-forward Billy Smith will be a big threat having scored over 25 goals this season.”

“The lads are very dedicated to representing their town and Dundalk FC. We are just looking forward to the game and keeping our momentum going and hopefully we can achieve something special,” finished Carragher.
