MANAGERSCOPE - STEPHEN KENNY

"RICHMOND CHALLENGE"
Derry City boss Stephen Kenny outlined the Richmond challenge awaiting his players, "We're looking forward to the game and going down there. We've been in decent form ourselves but it's another tough away game."

The Candystripes boss believes the Richmond Park contest has the makings of a "very open game with chances at both ends. Pats are scoring goals and we've been scoring freely as well. They are also a little bit off the cuff so it could be an open game.

Following last week's 2-0 home win over last season's champions Drogheda Kenny was keen to praise his defensive unit.

"Our defence had been coming in for a bit of criticism from certain quarters but they were excellent last week and that gives you a platform to do well."
