FRANKFORT HIT FOR FIVE

Our friends Frankfort United from County Offaly visited Sunday last and played our Under 13s in a friendly on the astroturf of Peamount United.

This was part of our 13s preparations for their upcoming trip to Barcelona where they will play on a similar surface.

In an open and entertaining game the Saints won 5-2.

Pat's shot ahead into a 4-0 lead with goals from Craig Smithers, Aaron Oliver, Derek Warren and Karl Tims.

Frankfort pulled back two goals through Stephen Screeney before Saints mascot and super sub Evan Smithers - just on for the last few minutes - remarkably netted the Saints fifth.
