St Pats Futsal Team Makes Progress

St Patrick's Athletic futsal team continued to make steady progress towards qualifying from their group in the FAI League of Ireland's futsal league – the winners of which will represent Ireland in Europe.

Team manger Ovidiu Matiut however is not looking beyond securing qualification from the group stages - “ the mixture of skills and styles of our Polish and Brazilian players as well as our greater experience at playing futsal may give us an advantage but we still have to go out and win the games”, said Ovidiu. “We played well last week but we also missed a lot of chances as well and this is something we need to improve on”.
