WELCOME BACK BRUCE

The Camac may well be a part of the folklore of Richmond Park, often immortalised in print by the bard himself, Con Houlihan, but in recent times it's remorseless flow was relieving us of some hard-earned cash.

When we lost 5 footballs last week during the trial match against Wayside Celtic it brought the cost of footballs lost to the crystal clear waters of the said torrent to over 1,000 Euros this season.

Yes, that's correct - 1,000 Euros of Umbro footballs which cost us 60 Euro a time. Conversations about nets being thrown across the Camac, even a suggestion of some surplus small boys being sacrificed were held in deep meaningful analysis in McDowells.

But our saviour appeared when Bruce returned to club last Sunday and offered his services as Match Ball Retriever. As though in acknowledgement that the maestro has returned, not even one ball dared go into the H20 during the match.

Great to have you back Bruce !!!
