COACH EDUCATION DAY
JASON CAREY our Director of Coaching and Youth Football recently hosted “Day One” of a three day Pre-season Coach Education Programme. Most the Saints underage coaches and managers were present and everyone is looking forward with optimism to the new season.
After the first session Carey told stpatsfc.com he felt youth section's coaches and players will be well prepared coming into the new season. “I'm very happy with the progress we have made off the pitch during the pre-season and I think everyone feels ready and can't wait for the first whistle.” He added, “The programme is designed to create an education flow and process were our coaches can learn and develop and then deliver it back to the players. Our aim is to help the coaches reach their potential and for them to help the players do the same.”
The next 2 phases of the presentation will be held in mid August and late August before the beginning of the new season.
