Dublin Sides Chasing Points For Different Reasons

  • Mon, Oct 03, 2005 @ 0:00

Bohemians and St Patrick’s Athletic meet tonight at Dalymount Park with both sides desperate for the points for different reasons.

With fourth place possibly leading to the Intertoto Cup and Setanta Cup, the battle for the position in the League is hotting up though Bohemians — on a three game losing streak — know that any further slip ups will be costly.

St Patrick’s Athletic too can ill afford any more slip ups if they are to avoid slipping into the relegation zone and they will be desperate to claim their first win in nine matches to climb away from the foot of the table.

Bohemians welcome back John Paul Kelly from suspension while St Pats will have trio Vinny Perth, John Frost and Darragh Maguire all back from bans though midfielder Alan Reilly is doubtful with an ankle knock.
